TACOMA MUSICAL PLAYHOUSE (TMP) is a not-for-profit theater, with approximately 400 seats, located in the Narrows Theater District in Tacoma, Washington, and close to neighboring Fircrest, University Place and Gig Harbor. TMP is the largest community theater in the Pacific Northwest and the tenth largest in the United States. TMP brings the best Broadway musicals to the South Sound. TACOMA MUSICAL PLAYHOUSE produces six Broadway style fully orchestrated Mainstage productions each season, three TMP Family Theater productions including an education component called CampTMP.
TMP Family Theater is a series of three professionally produced musicals with adult actors for Family Audiences based on beloved children’s stories.
Camp TMP occurs all year long and teaches hundreds of young actors annually. Programs include: After School Academy, Winter & Spring Break Camps, Summer Camp, Honor Camp, Your School’s A Stage, Young At Heart Players, Home Schooler’s Academy, among others.
