The Puyallup Sumner Chamber of Commerce welcomes visitors to our communities with Visitor Information Centers. The main Visitor Center is located at the Chamber Office in downtown Puyallup at 323 North Meridian. The unique interactive Sumner Visitor Center is located at the Old Cannery Furniture Warehouse at 13608 Valley Avenue East in Sumner.

The Chamber also provides relocation information for our area. Our communities offer some of the most sought after attributes for relocating families. This includes great schools, safe streets and neighborhoods, state of the art health care facilities, employment opportunities and community events that provide venues for locals and new comers to meet and partner.

Our Visitor Centers provide information about cultural events which include Northwest Sinfonietta, walking art tours and free concerts in downtown parks during the summer. There are Main Street Associations in both cities to ensure something is always going on downtown, and many of the events are free.

Puyallup and Sumner were originally agricultural communities. So visitors from the Midwest say it’s like coming “home”. Sumner is known as the Rhubarb Pie Capital and still has farms that produce hundreds of acres of the unique vegetable. Many of the restaurants in both cities serve locally grown food. Puyallup hosts an award winning Farmers Market every weekend which runs from mid-April thru October and the Puyallup Fair and Event Center is home to almost two million visitors a year.

If you’re partial to modern amenities we’ve got those, too. Our South Hill Mall retailers feature brand names like Coach and Sephora as well as lots of dining options for shoppers. Wi-fi is available in the numerous coffee shops throughout both cities and 4G capability is available in various locations.

But many who come to the northwest like to take advantage of our natural resources. There are hundreds of hiking and biking trails to explore and skiing and water sports are ultra popular and accessible locally.

Housing is plentiful in our communities and each city has access to Sound Transit and Pierce Transit systems which are economical and reduce commuting times for local families.

Please contact the Puyallup Sumner Chamber to help make your visit or relocation to the Pacific Northwest an enjoyable experience.
