Experience and explore Point Defiance Park during this 3 hour tour offered by Discover Nature, LLC.  Enjoy a relaxing pace in a small group (up to 6 people) lead by Owner and Tour Guide, Diann Sheldon, as you explore the beautiful Point Defiance Park.

Encounter a perfect example of an urban old-growth forest with trees over 400 years old.  Enjoy scenic vistas, keep an eye out for bald eagles and other birds.  Be dazzled by the stunning rhododendron, dahlia and rose gardens when they are in bloom.  (April through September depending on the variety)

Tour includes water, snacks, the use of binoculars and hiking poles.  We will hike the best trail for the day's weather, your interests and possible wildlife sightings.

We offer  pick up and return to hotels in Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Lakewood and DuPont.  Tours are offered at 10:00am and 3:00pm daily, depending on guide availability.
