Celebrate the ocean and learn how to protect it through arts, science and water fun in a free festival on Tacoma’s waterfront. FREE public all ages event to give adults and kids hands on opportunity to learn about the plight of our oceans and waterways and all the wild creatures that depend on their environment to survive. There will be food trucks and a Story Competition for school age writers! We will need volunteers to do a beach clean up at Purdy Spit on Friday, June 8th and participate in creating a human Orca whale mural on the beach!
