10th Annual Tacoma Santa Parade

The most wonderful PARADE of the year is almost here as the greater South Sound community gears up for the much-anticipated tenth annual Tacoma Santa Parade on Sunday, December 3rd. Organized by an enthusiastic group of volunteers and local businesses, this free community event promises to spread festive cheer and community spirit along historic South Tacoma Way.

Celebrating its tenth year, the Tacoma Santa Parade has become a cherished tradition for thousands of Tacoma residents, particularly families, who gather for a day of merriment and holiday celebration. The event transforms South Tacoma Way into a winter wonderland, drawing in participants and spectators from various parts of the city. Each year it’s a powerful catalyst for city pride, bringing Tacoma together for a free, festive event that fosters connections and joy among diverse communities.

This year's parade promises to be as enchanting as ever, with hundreds of participants, captivating characters, and the big man himself—Santa Claus! Festivities begin at 12 PM, with holiday shopping, food & drink specials, and vendors lining the streets. The parade begins at 4:30 PM and the route will wind its way through historic South Tacoma Way, with most of the action taking place between the blocks of 50th & 56th.
