Volunteer

Whether you're new to the area and want to learn more about Tacoma + Pierce County, or a long-time resident with plenty of wisdom to share, volunteering at the Visitor Information Center [VIC] is a great way to promote the destination while meeting people from all over the world and having fun!

Invitation to Volunteer

As an ambassador to the region, your contact with visitors has a direct effect on their experience and their decision to return or refer Pierce County as a potential travel destination to family and friends.

Many volunteers donate four hours-a-week on their chosen day, either from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. or 1-5 p.m. Travel Tacoma + Pierce County provides training sessions, tools, resources and familiarization tours to give volunteers a true understanding of all that our destination has to offer.
