  5. Traveled to China on a Sales Mission and met with nearly 250 travel sellers and media, resulted in a visit to Tacoma by 11 of Delta Airlines? top-producing outbound travel agents
  6. Developed Pierce County Agritourism product for farmers, restaurants, wineries, breweries, hoteliers and tour operators
  7. Launched mobile version of TravelTacoma.com
  8. Held the Glass Roots cooperative sales campaign for meeting planners, which resulted in eight RFPs with a potential economic impact of nearly $900,000
  9. Leveraged cultural tourism discussions in an initiative to bring together attractions in Pierce County to collaborate and connect resources
  10. Supported 65 meeting planners and provided onsite services for 25 conferences
  11. Assisted nearly 8,500 visitors in the Tacoma Visitor Information Center, 16 percent more than in 2010
