speed-meeting in san jose
In early November, I had the pleasure of representing the TRCVB and Tacoma + Pierce County at Collinson Media's Rejuvenate Marketplace Tradeshow for meeting planners of religious organizations.
This three day event, held at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, Calif., welcomed more than 1,100 attendees of which more than 800 were meeting planners.
The format was unique and exciting. Meeting planners were seated at tables and the suppliers, such as myself, had six minutes to exchange information. It was almost like ?speed-dating!?
Throughout the three days, there were receptions, seminars and scheduled networking sessions which offered opportunities to mingle with many planners.
It was fun educating planners on where Tacoma + Pierce County is in Washington and on all the exciting amenities and benefits our glorious area has to offer!
