Tacoma KOMO

It's a heady thing for an artist to see their work up in a gallery for the first time.

Tacoma high school students are experiencing it a bit earlier than most.

"It's so exciting," Tacoma School of the Arts 11th grader Anna Neshyba, whose work is currently hanging at the Tacoma Visitor Information Center, said.

The VIC is now partnering The Young Creative, a local collective of youth artists, to host a permanent gallery showcasing the art of high school students in Tacoma Public Schools.
