Tourism in the South Sound is expected to increase during 2011, despite state budget cuts and changing trends within the industry.

Last year, travelers to Washington spent an estimated $15.2 billion, according to the preliminary 2010 Travel Impacts Report, released last month by the Department of Commerce and Washington State Tourism.
