The Tacoma Regional Convention + Visitor Bureau [TRCVB] is excited to announce a change of positions within the organization that begins Monday, Oct. 7, 2013. Andrea Mensink has been named Director of Marketing + Communications. Her responsibilities will include directing, planning and implementing marketing and communication strategies to attract business, leisure and group tour travel markets to Pierce County.
Oct. 7, 2013—Tacoma, Wash — The Tacoma Regional Convention + Visitor Bureau [TRCVB] is excited to announce a change of positions within the organization that begins Monday, Oct. 7, 2013.
Andrea Mensink has been named Director of Marketing + Communications. She was previously Business Development Manager. Her responsibilities will include directing, planning and implementing marketing and communication strategies to attract business, leisure and group tour travel markets to Pierce County. Mensink is responsible for the collaborative management of the branding and imaging of the TRCVB and Travel Tacoma + Pierce County, WA. Mensink has been with the TRCVB since May 2008.
“We conducted a search for this position within our regional industry, and at the end of the day realized we had a member of our team who was ideal for the job,” said Bennish Brown, president and CEO of the TRCVB. “Andrea is a leader within our organization, she is a respected representative of the TRCVB within this community, and she has tremendous skills and talents that are easily transferred to her new role.”
