There are more Americans of Irish ancestry than there are people in Ireland, which practically makes St. Patrick’s Day a national holiday here. But don’t worry if you can’t trace your roots back to the Emerald Isle. As Russ Heaton, owner of Doyle’s Public House in Tacoma, says: “Everybody’s Irish that day.”
