Visiting for the weekend? After savoring your breakfast, visit the Downtown Puyallup Farmers' Market  open starting in April at the Pioneer Park Pavilion. Visit with a wide variety of vendors including artisans, farmers and specialty food vendors. Make sure you sample the region’s freshest and finest foods before leaving.

Afternoon: Take a step back in time to Puyallup's Meeker Mansion. Look through this historical home and image what it was like to live back in the day. Evening: When hunger sets in get a table at Arista a farm to table restaurant in the core of downtown Tacoma. Enjoy the local food cooked to perfection here while sipping on some wine.

Ready for dessert? A quick drive from Puyallup brings you to the city of Sumner, Rhubarb Pie Capital of the World! Sumner grows over 50 percent of the rhubarb in the U.S., and they are proud of it! Take a stroll down Main Street to visit the unique shops and cafés such as Berryland Café for a slice, or two, of locally baked and sourced, Sumner rhubarb pie.
