Puyallup Washington's Attractions + Festivals

Another major Puyallup attraction is the Daffodil Festival and its Grand Floral Street Parade, which take place each April. The festival is a 74-year tradition and the second largest event in Pierce County [after the Puyallup Fair]. The festival culminates with the parade, which includes daffodil-covered floats, marching bands, mounted units and classic automobiles. Also, the Santa Parade in downtown Puyallup, sponsored by the City of Puyallup.

Visit Puyallup’s Main Street Farmers’ Market, offering both outdoor and indoor shopping as well as educational events. Open spring through fall, the market has a variety of vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables, nursery plants, fresh flowers and handcrafted items. All market products are grown, processed or crafted by the seller, and only Washington products are sold at the market.

Browse downtown Puyallup’s small specialty shops, art galleries, cafés and restaurants. For major stores, head to the South Hill Mall, which offers a variety of department stores, specialty stores and dining options.
