LeMay—America’s Car Museum Coming in 2012

Tacoma + Pierce County is preparing for the grand opening of LeMay—America’s Car Museum in June 2012. The four-story, nine-acre auto museum will be one of the world’s largest of its kind. The LeMay auto collection is recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest privately-held car collection in the world. The new museum will provide visitors with a more hands-on approach in the technologically-advanced, interactive museum and educational center that will showcase the cultural impact of cars, motorcycles and trucks on our uniquely American way of life.
