So...what's the deal with glass art and Tacoma?
As the hometown of arguably the most name in studio glass artist worldwide - Dale Chihuly - glass art is in the Tacoma's DNA. So much so, in fact, that it's taken some offbeat forms: a glass-art pedestrian bridge, a McDonald's featuring studio glass, and perhaps most famously, Monkeyshines.
