Tribal Cultural Center and Museum

The center occupies a former church built in 1903.

The museum documents the history of the Steilacoom Tribe with exhibits ranging from the pre-Columbian era to the present.

The permanent collection includes clothing made from cedarbark and deerskin, baskets, tools and adornments. The statue of a Northwest Indian was made from a body cast for the 1893 Chicago World's Columbian Exposition.
