Tacoma Link Light Rail
Sound Transit's light rail system connects the Tacoma Dome Station (a regional hub for local and express bus, and commuter train service) with downtown Tacoma.  Link trains run every 10 minutes, Monday through Saturday, and every 10 to 20 minutes on Sunday.  Best of all Tacoma link is free!

NOTE: passengers may be asked to leave the train at the end of the line. 
On observed holidays Link will operate on a Sunday schedule.

* Two trains operate from either end of the rail route -- one from Tacoma Dome Station and one from Theatre District Station.

Sounder Commuter Rail
Sounder commuter trains offer comfortable, scenic rides for more than 3,400 rush hour train passengers between Everett, Seattle and Tacoma every weekday. More trains are on the way.

Fares & Passes
Sound Transit operates on a zone fare system. The cost of riding is based on how many fare zones you travel through and your fare type (adult, youth or senior/disabled). However, your fare for a single trip on Sound Transit will never be more than a three-zone fare.
