Located near the Rose Garden in Point Defiance Park, the Lodge is a handsome 1899 rustic style building. Wood paneling, beamed ceilings, a wraparound verandah and a fireplace provide a gracious and private setting in the lushly landscaped park.
A focal point of Point Defiance Park's Japanese Garden, the 1914 Pagoda is a replica of a 17th century Japanese Lodge. Gardens surrounding the Pagoda feature pools, a waterfall, a picturesque footbridge, cherry trees, azaleas and rhododendrons.
