Calling all goblins, ghosts and ghouls!
Rain or shine…Enjoy a unique way to trick-or-treat! Trunk-or-Treat provides a safe environment for families to enjoy an inexpensive afternoon of Halloween fun in a neat atmosphere! Costumed children (age 12 & under) trick-or-treat outdoors by visiting car trunk hosts to get their bags filled with goodies.
There is no charge to participate – the more the merrier!
A Note to Participants
We kindly ask that all participating children be accompanied with an adult at all times, please no drop offs. Children are encouraged to dress in their best Halloween costumes. Although some costumes look warmer than others, please help your child stay warm and bring a jacket in case of inclement weather.
All visitors dressed in costume on this day will receive HALF-OFF admission to see the indoor museum collection at Marymount (over 500 more vintage vehicles).
Register to be a Trunk Host
Families, individuals or groups host and decorate a collector car, motorcycle, hearse or regular driver cars are welcome, too!
Interested people should email firstname.lastname@example.org to register today!
We kindly ask trunk hosts to bring their own starting stash of candy (last year over 3000 children participated).
The best way to plan your trunk is to pick a decorating theme. (And don’t forget about a costume for yourself! You can dress to match your theme.)
Some ideas: Decades – 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, NASCAR, Harvest, Sports, Popular Kid’s Themes (Sesame Street, Dora the Explorer, etc.), Animals, Movies, Western, Camping Out, Christmas (or other holiday), Gone Fishing, Pirates, etc.
