Klahowya

Overview
Map

In 1855 Fort Nisqually was home to people from around the world and they greeted each other with the Chinook Jargon word "Klahowya." At this event we welcome all Pierce County residents with free admission for hands-on activities, performances and demonstrations of 19th century skills. Activities will be facilitated in multiple languages as a way to celebrate the historic and contemporary diversity of our region.
