Ever wondered just how many living organisms call Point Defiance Park home? Then you're invited to help us find out! A sense of wonder is all you'll need to volunteer at the park's BioBlitz, a survey of all living things in the park.

Volunteers sign up for a four-hour shift during the 24-hour survey, joining small teams guided by expert scientists or naturalists and focusing on certain lifeforms, such as trees or insects.

No experience is necessary - just curiosity. (Must be at least 8 years old. Those under 18 must have an adult with them, unless they are SAMi students.)

Read all about BioBlitz here. It's a wonderful volunteering opportunity for the whole family.
