MiiR water bottles create clean water in africa
In December the Services + Sales teams searched for promotional items that would reflect the unique culture of Pierce County. We found an incredible company and product to create something unique that will keep Tacoma + Pierce County on the meeting planner's mind.
MiiR produces customizable water bottles and donates $1 of every sale to clean water in Africa. MiiR CEO Bryan Papé and the MiiR team actually went to Liberia and our purchase helped contribute to their creation of a new well.
The water bottles will be given to special clients to encourage repeat meetings in Tacoma + Pierce County and they will be for sale in the Visitor Information Center. We will also offer MiiR water bottles in the Conference Responsibility Program, a new program encouraging meeting planners to act locally and make an impact globally through sustainable and socially responsible choices.
