summer intern brings even more creativity to the team

Please join us in welcoming Kortney Scroger, our new intern. Kortney joined the TRCVB in May and will be with our organization during the summer months, assisting part-time with projects in the Marketing + Communications Department.

Kortney is pursuing her bachelors degree at Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) where she studies communications and publishing + printing arts. Being from the area (Puyallup) and living in Pierce County her whole life gives her an edge to understanding the destination and all the great things it offers visitors and locals!

Outside of the TRCVB, Kortney volunteers for the Invisible Children Club and is a member of PLU's Sustainability Committee.

We are so excited to have Kortney working with us over the summer. Look for her at our next member event and say "hi!" or you can reach her by email at kortney@traveltacoma.com.
