trcvb a finalist; members take home title
The Tacoma Regional CVB was a finalist for the Business Examiner's 2011 South Sound Top Places to Work award-what an honor! This achievement is a reflection of the collaborative team environment that I get to work in every day.

Paul and I joined nearly 300 guests at the awards event held May 10 at the Greater Tacoma Convention + Trade Center. While we didn't take home an ?award? it was great to see some of our members and business partners also get recognized for their outstanding company cultures. Awards were given to companies outstanding in each of the following areas: Solidarity, Gratification, Equity, Appreciation and Integrity as well as in overall titles of the Top Places to Work for the highest cumulative scores in Large Company, Medium Company, Small Company and Non-Profit Company categories.

TRCVB member finalists included Broadway Center for the Performing Arts, Children's Museum of Tacoma, Courtyard by Marriott, Metro Parks and SiteCrafting. Our IT provider, Avaunt Technologies, won an overall Top Places to Work award, as well as SiteCrafting. We'd like to congratulate these companies as well as the other finalists!
