arkansas conference generates interest in our county
Sept. 26-28 I had the pleasure of attending the Small Market Meetings Conference in Little Rock, Ark. The conference is designed for meeting planners who plan events in second or third tier cities, such as Tacoma + Pierce County.

The conference had around 100 meeting planners attend and featured networking and educational opportunities throughout three days. I was able to meet one-on-one with 29 meeting planners and introduce them to Tacoma + Pierce County. This gained a lot of interest in our area!

The first night we were treated to a great networking event at the Clinton Presidential Library, a popular Little Rock attraction, and had the chance to take photos in a replica of the Cabinet Room. Our sales team will continue to build relationships with the meeting planners that I met at this conference and we look forward to bringing future business to our area.
