Savor Washington Workshop coming to Pierce County

Monday, February 14, 2011 3:22 PM by Andrea Mensink

We are working in conjunction with Washington State Tourism and Washington State Dept. of Agriculture to host a ?Savor Washington? workshop on March 1-2 in the Puyallup-Sumner communities.
The workshop will connect travelers to farms, growers, chefs, wine/beer/spirit makers, artisan cheese makers, fishermen, restaurants and tourism providers. This initiative strengthens Pierce County's position as a foodie destination by creating easier access to the people who grow or create local food and drink. If you are interested in learning more about the workshop, please contact me by e-mail or call [253] 284-3268.

What to do this weekend: 1/20 - 1/22

Thursday, January 19, 2017 6:00 PM by Calista Klein

Happy Friday, Pierce County!

This time of year one of my favorite things to do is try something new and creative. The cloudy skies make being inside so appealing, but I don't want to just sit around indoors all weekend! Luckily, scattered throughout Pierce County there are plenty of creative enterprises who can help artistically challenged individuals like myself create something to display in my home, drink my morning coffee out of, or even give as a gift to a friend with an upcoming birthday!
