Winter is approaching here in the Pacific Northwest, but not soon enough for some. Harmon Brewing Company's 22nd annual Pray for Snow party - taking place at the Harmon Restaurant on Thursday, Nov. 8 - seeks to hasten the season's arrival, and the skiing and mountaineering that come with it. As part of the momentum in the run-up to the opening of ski season, the event takes place each year the week before Warren Miller Films comes to town to show films in Tacoma's historic Theater District.

The event comes packed with ski and outdoor gear raffles to benefit Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and SheJumps, as well as food and drink specials, a specialty beer release (Harmon’s Steep and Deep Winter Ale), and an ice luge for Heritage Distilling Brown Sugar Bourbon.
