With more CVBs looking to reach visitors beyond their VIC storefront, Travel Tacoma + Pierce County's new partnership with the Washington State History Museum is a great opportunity show museum patrons all Pierce County has to offer.

"Tacoma's strength as a tourism center is in the partnerships among our attractions, particularly in arts and culture," Said Kimberly Ketcham, Marketing + Communications Director for the History Museum. "The museum encourages its visitors to see more of what Tacoma has to offer, and by providing display space to Travel Tacoma, we can highlight our fellow museums, parks, and other venues, benefiting us all."

The History Museum generously donated a space in its front lobby to serve as the satellite Visitor Information Center.  Ketcham said that it was a great opportunity for the History Museum to be a resource for visitors, and help them get a better picture of the tourist attractions in the area.

The center will be staffed with Travel Tacoma + Pierce County volunteers during the Third Thursday Art Walks, and information will be available for museum guests to pick up whenever the museum is open.
