2011-2012 meeting planner guide now available
With the help of TRCVB members and meeting planners, the 2011-2012 Meeting Planner Guide is now available.

The Meeting Planner Guide is used to help meeting planners choose Pierce County for their event destination. It outlines the regions meeting venues, hotels, services and more. The Guide is well traveled as it goes on the road with our sales team to local, nation and international tradeshows.

The 2011-2012 Guide has new standouts to help meeting planners choose Tacoma + Pierce County:

  • A Pre + Post Itineraries page provides suggested experiences for delegates. Whether delegates have only one hour, a half-day or are staying for two days, delegates get a feel for what they can experience during their stay.
  • Quick Response (QR) codes are integrated into the delegate perks section. These codes direct readers to more information on the web, integrating our print and online in new ways.
  • A new team building section is paired with sustainable meetings to illustrate how meeting planners can take their events to the next level.
  • Meeting planner testimonials are highlighted throughout the guide to provide successful first-hand accounts of what the destination is capable of.

The guide will soon be available on the homepage of under the "Download Guides" section or you can request a copy from our Sales Team.
