new app for visitor reservations
Facebook.com/TravelTacoma has a new app that allows our more than 1,090 ?likers? to book their stay while on Facebook. The ?Book Your Stay? tab on Facebook is made possible by our partnership with Advanced Reservation Systems, Inc. (ARES). Hotels and attractions that signed up to sell products on TravelTacoma.com are now featured on Facebook too!
The products available on TravelTacoma.com and Facebook.com/TravelTacoma are identical and the layout is very similar. Using this platform on Facebook helps capture visitors when they are considering visiting Tacoma + Pierce County. Facebook users can view hotels, attractions and packages from the same website they are using to communicate with family and friends.
The TRCVB partnered with ARES in November 2010, to give consumers a tool for one-stop-shopping for hotels, airline tickets, car rentals and activities.
