Eighteen months of surveys, questionnaires, focus groups and the testing and tasting of ideas and brainstorms have led to a new identity for the Tacoma Regional Convention + Visitor Bureau.

The new logo says Travel and the new marketing campaign says Fearless Exploration.

The focus goes to glass, collector cars and Mount Rainier.

The fresh message was delivered to a tourism-related gathering Wednesday at the Foss Waterway Seaport.
