The TRCVB is again looking to locals and visitors to submit photos for the official 2011 Tacoma Regional Visitor Guide

TACOMA, Wash. – The Tacoma Regional Convention + Visitor Bureau [TRCVB] is again looking to locals and visitors to submit photos for the official 2011 Tacoma Regional Visitor Guide.

Do you have a wild imagination and a knack for photography? The TRCVB is seeking creative images to be submitted from locations around the region. Deadline for submission is 5 p.m., Nov. 29, 2010. All skill levels are encouraged to enter! Winner will be announced on Dec. 6 on Facebook, www.facebook.com/traveltacoma

| About |
With a national distribution of 75,000 – the Visitor Guide gets around – drawing visitors to Pierce County and providing information on hotels, attractions, restaurants and businesses. Compelling editorial, dynamic design, sample itineraries and multiple maps work together to make trip planning fun and simple! 

| Vision |
Photographs should reflect where ART + NATURE meet – the TRCVB’s tagline. We are looking for creativity that speaks to the region’s urban sophistication and outdoor adventure. The best entry will receive a highlighted spot in the guide featuring a Q+A with the photographer. All other entries may still be considered for publication. 

| Guidelines |
Photographs must be original pieces and will become the property of the TRCVB and may be used for future marketing and promotional purposes at the TRCVB's discretion. Entries may combine mixed media such as illustration, painting and photography, but must be submitted in a digital format. Entries should represent a place or attraction in Pierce County [DuPont, Fife, Gig Harbor, Lakewood, Mount Rainier, Puyallup, Sumner, Tacoma, etc.]. Entries that do not meet guidelines will not be considered for publication. 

| How to Enter |
High-resolution digital formats are acceptable [.psd, .tif, .jpeg, .eps]. Please email your entry to chad@traveltacoma.com and include in the subject line: Photo Contest. Entries may also be saved to disc and mailed to the Tacoma Regional Convention + Visitor Bureau, Attn: Chad Hall, 1119 Pacific Ave., Suite 1400, Tacoma, WA 98402.
