Feb. 4, 2013 - Tacoma, Wash. — For those in search of special experiences to celebrate Valentine’s Day, the Museum of Glass is offering both family and couples a unique way to celebrate love with themed programming and special products created in the Hot Shop.

On Family Day, Saturday, February 9, visitors to the Art Experience Studio can make their own paper
lanterns, heart ornaments and Valentine’s Day fortune cookies. In addition, complete your experience and make a charming fused tile. Visitors can also watch gorgeous glass flowers and special heart stemmed goblets being made in the Museum’s glassblowing Hot Shop. Both will be available for purchase in the Museum Store.

On Valentine’s Day, Thursday, February 14 the Museum will stay open until 7pm for couples to enjoy a
romantic early evening at the Museum. Special offerings will include Valentine’s Day themed fusing and
bead making workshops. Both cost $20/person and may be pre-registered for at museumofglass.org/valentines-day

For those looking for the perfect gift, the Museum Store will be offering a special Valentine’s Day package featuring two Hot Shop-crafted heart stemmed goblets accompanied with a bottle of wine for $300 (supplies are limited).
